What is the ADVENTURE diving course and how much does it cost?

The Adventure diving course is an opportunity for novice divers who wish to explore new underwater experiences without committing to the full Advanced course.

This programme allows you to reach depths of up to 30 metres and participate in themed dives tailored to your interests, such as exploring shipwrecks, underwater photography, or navigation.

Diving Lessons for Beginners – Travellers and Tourists

The course includes three adventure dives that you can select based on your preferences, allowing you to personalise your experience. These dives can be completed in one or two days, making it a flexible option ideal for those with limited time.

The theoretical part is conducted through digital educational materials, including readings and videos, followed by quick assessments to consolidate your knowledge.

Diving Lessons for Beginners – Locals in Malta

During the practical sessions, you will be under the supervision of a certified instructor, ensuring a safe and educational experience. At the end of the course, you’ll receive an official certification that qualifies you to perform supervised dives in your selected areas.

For €230, the course includes certifications, instructor support, transport to the dive site, and 3 dives. It’s an excellent way to improve your diving skills and enjoy an unforgettable adventure in Malta’s crystal-clear waters.

The programme includes:

  • Three Adventure Dives: Choose dives based on your interests, such as shipwreck exploration, deep diving, underwater navigation, and more.
  • Educational Material: Access to readings and videos covering the theoretical aspects of the selected dives, along with quick quizzes to reinforce learning.
  • Supervised Practice: Perform specific exercises under the guidance of a certified instructor, ensuring safety and skill-building during dives.
  • Official Certification: Upon completion, receive a certification allowing you to conduct supervised dives in the selected specialities.
    Transport: Transfers from the diving centre to the dive sites.

Malta offers a wide range of dive sites suitable for all experience levels.

Some popular spots include:

  • The Inland Sea (Gozo): A protected lagoon with calm, shallow waters, ideal for beginner divers. Expect a variety of marine life, including fish, corals, and turtles.
  • The Blue Hole (Gozo): A stunning underwater sinkhole reaching depths of 50 metres. Popular among both scuba and free divers, it provides breathtaking views of the seafloor.
  • The P-29 Wreck (Malta): Perfect for intermediate to advanced divers. The wreck’s depth, currents, and dark interiors require some diving experience and skills.
  • The UM Faroud Wreck (Malta): A Libyan oil tanker sunk in 1988 off the coast of Gozo. Located at around 50 metres deep, it’s Malta’s largest wreck. While challenging to navigate due to its size and dark waters, it’s a must-see for experienced divers.
  • Santa Maria Caves (Comino): A series of underwater caverns featuring unique geological formations. While slightly challenging to navigate, these caves offer stunning sights and diverse marine life, making them a favourite for experienced divers.
  • Be at least 12 years old.
  • Have an Open Water Certification.
  • Complete a medical questionnaire (we provide it).
  • Parental authorisation for those under 18 years old.

The course takes 1 or 2 days, depending on the student and weather conditions.
