The PADI Open Water course in Malta is the gateway to discovering the fascinating underwater world.
Designed for beginners, this programme allows you to learn essential diving skills and explore the crystal-clear waters of Malta, known for its exceptional visibility and unique marine life.
With this international certification, you will be able to dive independently to a maximum depth of 30 metres, enjoying a safe and exciting experience.
*You will need to arrive at the dive centre, where we will prepare all the equipment for you. After the dive, our instructors will take care of returning the equipment to the centre, so you won’t need to come back with us unless you wish to.
You will do 5 planned dives, each with specific exercises related to the theme of the adventures you choose.
This course includes five adventure dives, two of which are mandatory: Navigation and Deep Diving. The other three are your choice, and we will guide you on the most recommended options depending on the season.
We provide rental for basic diving equipment. A dive computer is mandatory for this course—if you don’t have one, we offer rentals.
You will be able to dive up to 30 metres anywhere in the world and gain access to more opportunities to explore places and types of diving that were previously unavailable to you.
The duration varies based on your availability, but you can generally complete it in just a few days by combining theory and practice.
You must be a certified Open Water Diver and in good physical condition to participate.
Upon completion, you will receive the internationally recognised Advanced Diver certification, allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres. The certification will be issued immediately in digital format.
