1. Minimun age
For basic courses like PADI Open Water Diver, you must be at least 10 years old (Junior Open Water Diver) or 15 years for standard certification.
Advanced courses may have specific age requirements.
2. Medical Form
You’ll need to complete a standard medical questionnaire. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, you may need a doctor’s approval.
3. Previous Knowledge
For advanced courses like Advanced Open Water or Nitrox Diver, you must have completed the basic course or hold an equivalent certification.
4. Swimming Skills
While you don’t need to be an expert swimmer, you’ll need to demonstrate comfort in the water, such as swimming 200 metres and floating for 10 minutes.
